Plead the promises

Never settle for the other
Do not fight the contrary

We let no room for the other
keep no space for her thoughts
Let alone her woes to ponder
Speak life!
And that alone
Here, we don't address the woes
It is but an unnecessary acknowledgement
No good decree will ever fade
Even in a thousand generation
The other is but for a while,
To steal and bring vile
Behold glee!
When our minds
Keep the good at sight.
On and on,
Doggedly good
Until we see beauty in our rags
Joy in our tears
Even life in death
Don't ask me how and why
Let's just leave it at good
