Poem: He is calling ~ (The invincible Pen)

HE IS CALLING

The world was made to be beautiful
With colors and spice; all in full
He made us all; the wise and fool
Why do we need school?
Love is life's major tool
To forbear one another, that's cool
But far deeper than this; He was covered in His bloods pool
So we don't have to die to stay alive in this jungle I call the woods
No longer do you need another
To atone for the sins you partake with another
For boldly you can enter, as you will find mercy littered everywhere on his seat as it glitters
You won't be the first to enter
Even though you need another entry
His arms stretched out, saying come, come
You don't need to form or a form
He is calling you

There's more nearer (...again!) - Come Away

Come away into a space of the unknown which knows no boundaries.
With me, ride through the express route on chariot speed as we hear the sound of the birds chirp. Every possible bliss, feel.
Stretch your arms wide and feel the gentle breeze of freedom echo without end, beauty without blot and my nearness surge your senses.
Behold the finest things. The more you see, the more you want to see.
How can this be? You may ask, but the excitement that floods your heart sweeps away every doubt.

What price did you pay for freedom?
On what terms did you agree for rest?
Or what gift did you present to appease?
That was but a swindle, a rip-off for temporary gain, draw near and see the nail scar on my hands. You may put your hands through if you so please to ease your doubt.
And beyond your boxed understanding, I will teach you to trust. Trust that I paid it all, settled decades ago.

Draw near and see my eyes burn with intense desire for you. Walk with me.
Permit me make all your dreams come true.
Let me take you past every hurdle of opposition. And when your feet is to be dashed against a stone, I will remove every stump in your way.
Draw near, come away my beloved on a path designed for you. Just me and you. This is how you dare to be different - to stand out and make a difference.

"Whoever has sipped this wine will thirst for more, for although Christ does satisfy, yet it is such a satisfaction that the appetite is not choked, but whetted.
If you know the love of Jesus as the hart pants for the water-brooks, so will you pant after deeper draughts of His love.
If you do not desire to know Him better, then you love Him not, for love always cries, "Nearer, nearer."

        Be gone luring lusts, for my Lord is near;
With senses in-tune, I hear His voice so clear.
Behold the promises with comforts dear,
At rest; me and You together here.

There's more, nearer! (Part 1)

A happy new year can only be realistic from His presence.

My pastor likes to say: "Answers are gotten from His presence". Answers that correctly link all of life's most scrambled puzzles. Whatever it is you seek in the physical, must first be found in His presence.

So, it's that time of the year when most religious groups embark on a fasting exercise or some sort of program to get the church start the year with God. Every New Year...every resolution, is an opportunity to expect more, long for more, reach for more. Asides the RELIGIOUS exercise, how much can you drink?...how deep can you dig? This I  think is a PERSONAL call.

I read this article by Alistair Begg sometime ago, i hope you find it inspiring.

"Get you up to a high mountain. -Isaiah 40:9"

Each believer should be thirsting for God, for the living God, and longing to climb the hill of the Lord and see Him face to face. We should not rest content in the mists of the valley when the summit of the mountain beckons us. My soul thirsts to drink deeply of the cup that is reserved for those who reach the mountain's peak and bathe their brows in heaven. How pure are the dews of the hills; how fresh is the mountain air; how abundant is the provision of the dwellers aloft, whose windows look into the New Jerusalem!

Many saints are content to live like men in coal mines, who do not see the sun; they eat dust like the serpent when they might taste the food of angels; they are content to wear the miner's garb when they might put on king's robes; tears disfigure their faces when they might anoint them with celestial oil. I am convinced that many a believer pines in a dungeon when he might walk on the palace roof and view the goodly land. Rouse yourself, believer, from your low condition! Discard your laziness, your lethargy, your coldness, or whatever interferes with your sincere and pure love for Christ, your soul's Husband. Make Him the source, the center, and the circumference of your soul's whole range of delight.

What fully enchants you to remain in a pit when you may sit on a throne? Do not live in the lowlands of bondage now that mountain liberty is conferred upon you. Do not be satisfied any longer with your tiny attainments, but press forward to things more sublime and heavenly. Aspire to a higher, a nobler, a fuller life.

Upward to heaven! Nearer to God!
When will Thou come unto me, Lord?
Oh come, my Lord most dear!
Come near, come nearer, nearer still,
I'm blest when Thou art near.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Host His presence.
