Soul Food (Daily Bread II)
When your words came, I ate them;
they were my joy and my heart’s delight,
for I bear your name,
Lord God Almighty.
they were my joy and my heart’s delight,
for I bear your name,
Lord God Almighty.
(Jer. 15:16)
By every word that comes out of the mouth of the father, our minds are renewed. By every word that comes out of the mouth of the father, our souls are restored. By every word that comes out of the mouth of the father, our lives replenished. His words are Spirit and Life, the soul of man must feed to thrive. From His throne a river, the nations must drink, and of its leaves taste.
Go to the maker of the brand to proffer solution for the ailing machine, or study the manual and it fulfills it's course easily. The words of Abba do more than this. They are to the soul, food; and to the Spirit, fuel.
Daily Bread I
Give us this day our daily bread.
(Matthew 6:11)
(Matthew 6:11)
Sufficient for my soul is the providence of it's maker. He daily loads us with benefits and to everyone, a daily portion. But with this stands the entailed premise, ask. A seemingly inconsequential request which embodies the power of the supernatural, and also shows an unfeigned expression of dependence on Abba. He by Himself said to ask, why then do we depend on sweat for supply or feel downtrodden when we have not asked.
From His table the nations are daily fed; hungry and thirsty, they bring large appetites with them to the banquet, but not one of them returns unsatisfied; there is enough for each, enough for all, enough forevermore. Although the company that eats at His table is as countless as the stars of heaven, yet each one has his own portion.

Whispering Psalms V: Melodies (#PoeticWorship)
(This encounter occurred recently. Precisely on Sunday after we led worship with this song “Behold- Then sings my soul”
By Hillsong. The words brought me into a new place on the father’s Love
for me. So, here’s how I can describe it in writing. Kindly take time
out to soak yourself in the words, read slowly and selah.)
In the midst of silence
Buried in a crowd
of awestruck like-minds
You single me out
Like time froze
To create this moment
It was our time
This time, a love time
Every time with you
A love time
Poured out my heart
In my own way
The atmosphere, really warm.
I reach for my pen
But the letters won’t write
all I hear, songs
whispering melodies
Ancient tunes
With love lines
They reveal your heart
They reassure
whispering melodies
Ancient tunes
With love lines
They reveal your heart
They reassure
Songs of deliverance
words to comfort
Just melodies
drifting as waves
words to comfort
Just melodies
drifting as waves
from a distance
Songs my soul finds delight in
Melodies all over me.
Songs my soul finds delight in
Melodies all over me.
Oh what mystery
I hear you
I hear it clearly
what Heaven sounds like
and the breathy voice of Love
like hues of rain
I hear you
I hear it clearly
what Heaven sounds like
and the breathy voice of Love
like hues of rain
In red, yellow, white and blue.
Falling over me
it penetrates my flesh
it penetrates my flesh
to sound this echo in my soul
“For I have loved you
with an everlasting love
and I have drawn you
with an everlasting love
and I have drawn you
With loving kindness”...
WORSHIP DEVOTIONAL: Crystal Clear
Search me Lord and know my heart
Try me and know my thoughts.
Psalm 139:23
Try me and know my thoughts.
Psalm 139:23
The
heart of a worshiper has the purest of intents, being redeemed by blood
divine, renewed by the bread of life, and is sustained by spirit and
truth; the bookends for purity and translucency. With eyes that once
beheld the beauty of the Ultimate one so pure, heart cleansed by blazing
fire in the eyes of the one she desires. The desire of all nations came
with coal for the unclean lips, hyssop for the impure heart, mud and
spit for the blind. To this end He has revealed Himself as the "pearl of
great price" in its peerless beauty, as the "bundle of myrrh" in its
refreshing fragrance, as the "lily" in its spotless purity.
Works
are seen from the hands, but intentions are buried in the heart. This
is why the psalmist followed clean hands with a pure heart as premises
to ascend to the hill of the Lord. Outward practical holiness is of
importance, that men may see our good works, and glorify our father in
Heaven. But "clean hands" will not suffice unless they are connected
with "a pure heart." True worship reflects the state of the heart. We
may wash the outside of the cup as long as we please, but if the inward
parts be filthy, we are filthy altogether, for our hearts are more truly
ourselves than our hands are.

WORSHIP DEVOTIONAL: DAYS OF 2017
Oh! Teach us to live right
teach us to live wisely and well
teach us to live wisely and well
(Psalm 90:12)
The
summit of worship is expressed in a life well lived. Days numbered in
Joy, Hope, Faith and Love. The worshiper journeys with a defined course
in obedience and service to the creator's decree. To every promise is a
premise, to every action an intention; every creature, a purpose. So,
consider the sweetness from the fruits of the tree, see that it
satisfies the creator's creative ability, the resourcefulness of the
palm tree teaches about the creator's dexterity and fruitfulness, and we
can go on to unravel the purpose for the each creature, but as for the
worshiper; he is to replicate Heaven on Earth. This year, we have been
called into the apostolic, and commission as apostle in various spheres.
The worshipers will be at the front-line.
"Teach me to number my days that I may apply my heart unto wisdom"
Numeration is to a child arithmetic exercise, but to the mature an act
thought by the Holy Spirit. Numbering one's days is not counting how
many days we have lived or to predict how many days we have left; but as
the NLT translates, realizing the brevity of life. Knowing that we only
have so many days on this earth, and therefore we want to “seize the
day,” living each day to the fullest. To do this, we must be given to
prayer. Prayer for guidance and direction, prayer to restore and
replenish. A prayerless soul is a Christless soul. A prayerless soul has
lost touch with divinity. Prayer is the lisping of the believing
infant, the shout of the fighting believer, the requiem of the dying
saint. It is the breath, the watchword, the comfort, the strength, the
honor of a worshiper.
